February 29 is the anniversary day of AFIS Sonda. Exactly 20 years
ago the first Sonda system was launched in the police department of the
city of Magnitogorsk.
Thus AFIS Sonda entered service in the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia. Over these 20 years the system was installed in 25 regions of the Russian Federation. More than a hundred forensic departments in district, regional, territorial and national centers have adopted our system.
